EMILIO PUCCI ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF ITS JUNIOR LINE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SIMONETTA
Emilio Pucci and Simonetta have signed a multi-‐year licensing agreement for the design, manufacture and worldwide distribution of a line dedicated to girls from ages 0 to 14, developed based on the creative inspirations of Emilio Pucci.
The partnership between Emilio Pucci, the luxury Maison that has always stood out for its incredible savoir-‐faire in ready-‐to-‐wear, and Simonetta, the leading company in childrenswear, could not be more suitable. Creativity, research and tradition are values that these two Italian companies have in common. Starting with Spring/Summer 2018, they will offer a fresh and dynamic collection, perfectly in line with the spirit of Emilio Pucci.
The new collection, which will be presented this coming June 22nd at the Palazzo Pucci during Pitti Immagine Bimbo, will be available in the Emilio Pucci flagship stores and in the online store, as well as in select multibrand boutiques and exclusive department stores.
Mauro Grimaldi, CEO of Emilio Pucci, says: “We are enthusiastic to announce this partnership with Simonetta, a company with which we share values, such as quality, passion for creativity and sophisticated elegance which represent the greatest expression of the Italian spirit. Pucci has always been synonymous with colour, “joie de vivre”, energy and refinement. This collection represents a natural extension of our universe.”
Roberto Stronati, Chairman of Simonetta, says: “I believe that this new collaboration with Emilio Pucci is a big opportunity for both companies. Simonetta’s ability to create collections inspired by beauty, excellent quality and respect for children and their world comes together with the perfection of Emilio Pucci’s style. A style that constantly aims to create tasteful pieces that are incredibly wearable. Therefore, we are very proud to embark upon this new adventure, the result of a commonality in terms of the history and value of ‘Made in Italy,’ which over the years has made the two companies beacons of creativity and excellence throughout the world.”
About Emilio Pucci
The Marquis Emilio Pucci founded the company that bears his name in the 1950s, becoming famous throughout the world as the “Prince of Prints”. Taking inspiration from natural landscapes, architecture and exotic cultures, he created kaleidoscopic prints that made an indelible impact. Today, these prints are updated each season in a faithful and contemporary way. Pucci’s creations, which are a mix of Italian exuberance and simple shapes, celebrate colour and an unconventional lifestyle. Like an invitation to “La Dolce Vita” that has been a shining light since 1947, there are a sophisticated blend of hues and the distinctive traits of the brand’s style. Pucci’s colour combinations are immediately recognizable and represent energy and excitement while simultaneously maintaining a certain essential feel in terms of the styles of models and flowing dresses. In addition to ready-‐to-‐ wear creations, the Pucciuniverse offers its sophisticated clientele a complete style that stands out for its concept of the Italian lifestyle, ranging from beachwear to resort wear, to the worlds of art and design. Emilio Pucci is a brand with worldwide recognition and a sales network of more than 50 boutiques throughout the world.
